The Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Department, includes all custodial, grounds and maintenance staff in the district. The M&O Department is located on 4740 Pedley Road, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509 and was originally built in 2 Phases — 1969 (Phase I) and 1997 (Phase II). The M&O Department currently sits on 7.18 site acreage with 37,675 square feet of building area. There are 7 buildings on site at 1 story in height. The primary buildings built around 1969 are wood and steel frame construction with built-up or metal roofs replaced in 1996. The portables are light-gauge steel structures with metal and bituminous roofs. The exterior facade of these buildings are painted wood and metal with aluminum-framed windows and steel/ wooden doors. The newest addition to the M&O Yard is the Center Server Building built in 2016 that houses the District’s main servers. It is of steel frame and masonry block construction with a built-up roof and aluminum storefront doors at the entry.
